Ben Ayres has over nine years of experience in hydrographic surveying, currently serving as the Geophysics Technical Group Leader for Europe and Africa at Fugro since July 2016. In this role, Ben also holds the titles of Chief Surveyor and Senior Hydrographic Surveyor, specializing in offshore hydrographic surveying and multibeam data processing. Prior to joining Fugro, Ben worked as a Hydrographic Surveyor at Gardline Marine Sciences Limited for two years. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Ocean Exploration from the University of Plymouth, completed in 2014, and A levels from Torpoint Community College, where education was completed in 2011.
