Daniel Schouten

Daniel Schouten currently serves as the Global Director of Corporate Finance & Treasury at Fugro, part of the Financial Leadership Team, where responsibilities include managing the strategic finance agenda of the CFO, focusing on value creation, capital allocation, and strategy quantification. Previously, Daniel held the position of Group Corporate Finance Manager at HES International B.V., contributing to the execution of the HES Group Strategy 2025 and leading corporate finance activities. Earlier experience includes various roles at Nomura in the Investment Banking Division, specializing in M&A and Leveraged Finance, alongside foundational experience as a Finance Associate. Daniel holds an MSc in Finance and a BSc in Economics and Business with a specialization in Finance from the University of Amsterdam.
