Gary Li

Gary Li is a Chartered Engineer with 23 years of experience in project coordination, planning, design, and supervision of onshore and offshore geotechnical works across Europe and the APAC regions. Currently serving as Land Director for Asia at Fugro since October 2024, previous roles include Service Line Director for Land Consulting at Fugro (Hong Kong) Limited and Operation Excellence Manager at Fugro Geotechnical Services Limited. Gary has extensive experience in marine geotechnical surveys and foundation design for offshore wind farms, actively promoting Fugro’s Renewables services in North Asia, including China, Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering and a BEng in Civil Engineering, both from Cardiff University.
