Jons Ekkel

Jons Ekkel is a seasoned Technical Superintendent currently responsible for technical management of DP2 Geotechnical drilling vessels operating in the EU/AF region at Fugro. Jons has held various maritime positions, including Marine Technical Superintendent at Redwise Maritime Services B.V. and Technical Superintendent at Baggerbedrijf de Boer B.V./Dutch Dredging, managing diverse dredging units across New Zealand, Kazakhstan, and the EU. With a background as a Marine Surveyor at Van Woerkom, Nobels & Ten Veen and earlier roles as a Deputy Operator and Maritime Officer, Jons brings extensive expertise in vessel management, upgrades, and operational efficiency. Jons is also pursuing a degree in Ship Superintendency at Lloyd's Maritime Academy.
