Kaz van Dijk has extensive experience in geotechnical engineering, currently serving as Party Chief, Offshore Geotechnical Engineer, and Project Engineer Monitoring at Fugro since September 2019. Prior to this role, Kaz worked as a Student Assistant on the ERC-Synergy Project NEXUS1492 at Leiden University, focusing on data and GIS processing from March to August 2019. Previous experience includes working as a warehouse employee at Bidfood Netherlands from September 2013 to February 2019 and as a team leader at PLUS Woudhoek in Schiedam from October 2008 to August 2013. Kaz holds a Grondmechanica en Funderingstechniek 2 degree from PAO Techniek en Management, obtained between 2021 and 2022, a Geo-ICT Traineeship from Voort Academy (2019-2020), a Master of Arts in Archaeology of the Americas and Digital Archaeology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology, both from Leiden University.
