Melanie Barth has extensive experience in the geophysical and marine geology fields, currently serving as Principal Advisor for Geo-data Digitalisation in Marine Site Characterisation at Fugro since June 2013. Previously, Melanie held the role of Delivery Excellence Manager Geophysics, focusing on enhancing deliverable quality and timeliness, and also worked as Regional Business Development Manager for Renewables, aiming to establish Fugro's Hamburg office as a key contact for renewable energy clients. Before joining Fugro, Melanie was Manager of Processing and Reporting at Fugro Survey BV and served as a Marine Geologist at C & C Technologies, where project responsibilities included data interpretation and report writing. Melanie began her career as a Project Engineer for Submarine Cable Routes at NSW Norddeutsche Seekabelwerke GmbH & Co. KG, ensuring quality control on global geophysical and geotechnical surveys. Education includes an M.Sc. in Geology from TU Clausthal.
