Michael Redmayne

Michael Redmayne is an accomplished professional in the field of hydrography, currently serving as Hydrographic Training Programme Manager at Fugro since April 2022, where responsibilities include the development and delivery of training to IHO/FIG Cat B standards. Prior roles include Director of Gulf Operations at David Evans and Associates, Inc. from April 2020 to April 2022, overseeing hydrographic survey operations and project management on the Gulf Coast of the USA. Michael's experience also spans working as an Account Manager at CARIS, Technical Sales at Teledyne, and as a Hydrographic Officer in the Royal Navy, where a deep specialization in hydrography and meteorology was developed. Education includes an MSc in Hydrographic Science from The University of Southern Mississippi and a PGDip in Applied Meteorology & Oceanography from the University of Plymouth, along with a BSc in Information Systems Management from Cranfield University. Michael also serves as an External Examiner in Hydrographic Surveying at the University of Plymouth as of November 2023.
