Niall McLeod

Niall McLeod is a Marine Environmental Scientist currently employed at Fugro since November 2022, following a role as Fisheries Observer with MRAG Ltd from May to October 2022, where data was collected on a krill fishing vessel in the South Atlantic Ocean. Prior to this, Niall worked at Marine Scotland Science from April 2018 to May 2022, focusing on fisheries observations and aquarium maintenance. Experience includes contributions to fish stock understanding through data collection and experimental design. Earlier positions encompass roles in fish husbandry and management at Loch Duart Ltd, engineering and event coordination in casual positions, and a lead research assistant position developing a brood stock program at the National University of Ireland, Galway. Niall earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Marine Biology from Heriot-Watt University between 2012 and 2015.
