Peter Schilder

Peter Schilder is a Senior Geologist at Fugro, where responsibilities include geological surface and subsurface mapping, geohazard assessments using seismic reflection data, and integrating geological, geophysical, and geotechnical data for reporting and digital deliverables. Additionally, Peter provides input for commercial tenders and prepares shallow gas hazard assessments for offshore geotechnical operations, while also performing geological desktop studies and overseeing offshore data acquisition. Prior experience includes serving as a Student Assistant at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, supporting subsurface data preparation and seismic interpretation, and an internship at EBN B.V., where contributions were made to the Geo-Drilling Events Database. Peter also participated in AAPG’s Imperial Barrel Award Program, showcasing skills in subsurface data analysis. Peter holds a Master of Science in Earth Sciences, specializing in Geology & Geochemistry, and a Bachelor of Science in Earth Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
