Ray Wood

Ray Wood serves as the Vice President of Metals and Minerals for the Americas region at Fugro, providing strategic leadership in the metals and minerals industries and advancing safety management techniques for tailings facilities. With a career spanning over a decade at Fugro, Wood has held various prominent roles, including Global Director for Land Site Characterization Services, where oversight of a team of approximately 3,500 staff was central. Additional experience includes regional management and executive roles across multiple Fugro entities, specializing in deep foundations, marine geotechnics, and site characterization. Wood's educational background includes an MBA from Henley Business School and a Master of Arts in Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
