Remko Kloos

Remko Kloos serves as the Global Director of Operational Excellence at Fugro since February 2019, where responsibilities include leading transformative initiatives, optimizing operational efficiency, and implementing change management strategies. Kloos has an extensive background at BPF Koopvaardij, holding roles such as Voorzitter and Bestuurder en Secretaris, overseeing strategic policy and compliance for a pension fund with approximately €4 billion in assets. Additional leadership positions include contributions to organizations such as the Koninklijke Vereniging van Nederlandse Reders and IMCA. Kloos’s previous experience encompasses various managerial roles at Anthony Veder, encompassing project management, maintenance, and HR, along with practical maritime experience as a Captain. Kloos holds multiple educational qualifications, including an Executive Pension Program from Nyenrode Business University and board effectiveness training from the University of Toronto.
