Rita de Geus

Rita de Geus has over 30 years of experience in the IT field. Rita is currently working at Fugro as an IT Team Lead, where they oversee the global internal working environment using SharePoint & Teams. Prior to this, Rita worked at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines for 20 years, primarily as an IT Specialist. Rita was responsible for technical aspects of Microsoft O365 SharePoint & Teams, as well as other email-related applications. Earlier in their career, Rita worked at TNO as an Allround Operational Administrator, managing internal IT servers, and at KPN as a Technical Support Specialist, handling internal IT applications. Rita began their career at Wang Nederland b.v as a Help Desk Specialist and later became a System Administrator. Throughout their career, Rita has gained expertise in various IT systems and applications.

Rita de Geus has a diverse education history. In 1980-1985, they attended MAVO without completing a degree. From 1985-1986, they studied at Schoevers and obtained a degree in Secretary. In 1986-1987, they attended Assistant Microcomputers, but their degree and field of study are unknown. Additionally, Rita has obtained various certifications over the years, including Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer from Microsoft. Rita also holds certifications in leadership, time management, and essential lessons for first-time managers from LinkedIn. Rita has recently obtained certifications in assertiveness, with coursework from Udemy, and the EFSET English Certificate at an advanced level. Rita has also completed the Fugro U.Lead.Manager program with the Alchemist institution.
