Colm McDaid

Colm McDaid is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability and environmental management within the technology sector. Currently serving as the Global Sustainability Environment Lead at Fujitsu since February 2008, McDaid is responsible for the development and execution of the ESG strategy, including initiatives aimed at achieving Net Zero. Previous roles at Fujitsu include Head of Environment Europe, focusing on sustainability solutions for business partners, and Principal Solutions Architect, where technical leadership and sustainable design solutions were provided to government and commercial clients. Prior to Fujitsu, McDaid held the position of Senior Datacenter Engineer at Seagate Technology and Logistics Manager at Calcast Ltd., showcasing a diverse background in systems design, supply chain management, and operational efficiency. McDaid holds a Master's degree in Computing and Information Systems from Ulster University and a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering from Liverpool John Moores University.
