Satoshi Imai, Ph.D., is the Vice President and Head of Data & Security Research Laboratory at Fujitsu and serves as a Visiting Professor at Shizuoka University, Japan. They earned a Master's degree in Engineering Science and a Ph.D. in Information Science from Osaka University. Their research interests encompass networked systems modeling, system design and control, distributed computing, Blockchain, secure data management, and digital trust. From 2020 to 2022, they led business incubation and commercial development of trust services utilizing blockchain technologies at Fujitsu Uvance and are currently focusing on anti-dis/misinformation, AI security, AI trust, and distributed data management technologies.
