Christopher Spiers has a diverse range of work experience. Christopher is currently working as a Thermal Engineer at Fulfil since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Contractor at FLIR Systems from July 2019 to December 2020. In 2020, they served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for a Mechanical Engineering Energy Course at UC Santa Barbara from January to March. Before that, they worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher in the Computational Applied Science Laboratory at UC Santa Barbara from January to April 2018. Christopher also worked as a Reader for the Department of Mechanical Engineering at UC Santa Barbara from January to December 2017, where they assisted students in the machine shop. In 2016, Christopher was an intern at NASA Glenn Research Center, where they contributed to projects involving autonomous problem solving and intelligent control. Additionally, they have experience as a Physics Workshop Leader and a Physics Learning Center & STEM Center Tutor at Cabrillo College.

Christopher Spiers pursued their education with a focus on Mechanical Engineering. Christopher began at Cabrillo College in 2014, earning an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2016. Continuing their academic journey, they enrolled at UC Santa Barbara in 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2019. Christopher furthered their education at UC Santa Barbara, completing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2020.
