Matt Pinner

Matt joined Full Fact in January 2022 and works on UK policy and Full Fact’s proposals to reduce the harm caused by bad information through legislation, regulation, policy and practice. He builds Full Fact’s relationship with the UK Government on online policy and tackling misinformation in public debate and online.

Matt is a former lawyer, having worked both in government and more recently for the Financial Conduct Authority, during which time he advised Ministers and officials on a range of policy, regulatory and legislative matters. Prior to qualifying as a lawyer Matt worked in Parliament, local government and for a business membership body.
