The Fullife Foundation: Making a Difference in Ethiopia

The Fullife Foundation was established with a passion to bring change to those in need, specifically in Ethiopia. Our mission is to improve the health of women and children, aiming to reduce preventable deaths among expectant mothers and their babies, and to provide them with hope and a brighter future.

What started as an idea on a windswept Queensland beach in late 2011 has evolved into a powerful force for good, deeply embedded in the pharmacy industry and supported by a growing network of committed individuals. Despite early challenges, a chance meeting with a charity focused on Ethiopia set us on a life-changing path.

As a fully registered public charity, the Fullife Foundation is an integral part of the Fullife Pharmacy model, allowing our pharmacy customers and extended supporter network to engage directly in our mission. Through their support, we have been able to make a meaningful impact in Ethiopia. We are currently working towards growing this support network beyond the pharmacy industry to create greater impact. 

A pivotal visit to Ethiopia in March 2014, followed by several more, revealed the profound difference our efforts are making. We were humbled to meet many of the children we sponsor and to witness firsthand the benefits our support has brought to communities across Ethiopia.

Today, we work closely with three dedicated charity partners—Barefoot Initiative, International Needs Australia (INA), and Afar Pastoral Development Association (APDA)—to further our mission. Our goal is clear: to help as many women and children in Ethiopia as possible to lead full, healthy lives.
