Christina Walker

Christina Walker has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Christina started their career as a Mathematics Teacher at Grissom High School, where they taught Algebra I and Algebra IB. During their time there, they achieved a high pass rate on the Alabama High School Graduation Exam and also voluntarily tutored students, resulting in improved grades for 90% of their students.

Following this, Christina worked as a Mathematics Teacher at Whitesburg Middle School, where they taught pre-Algebra and conducted Alabama Reading Initiative classes. Christina implemented innovative instructional strategies and organized engaging Pi Day celebration activities for over 700 students, earning praise from the school principal.

Their next role was at Westlawn Middle School, where they were selected to teach Advance Algebra I and Pre-Algebra. Along with teaching, they focused on improving algebra readiness among the school's adolescent learners. Christina used experiential learning activities to enhance creative thinking and mathematical understanding.

Christina then joined Union Chapel Christian Academy as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher, instructing grades six, seven, and tenth. Christina developed and implemented an experiential program that taught tenth-grade students how to apply mathematical skills to career planning.

In 2014, Christina started working at Cobb County School District as a Mathematics Teacher. Their responsibilities included providing strategies for student success in math, creating differentiated lessons, and collaborating with other teachers on student progress.

Currently, they are employed at iTutor.com Inc. as a Math Tutor. Their role involves delivering online teaching and tutoring services to students from school districts and universities. Christina aims to provide high-quality education services in an affordable and effective manner, using innovative technology platforms.

Christina Walker's education history begins in 2005 when they attended The University of Alabama. Christina pursued a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education Mathematics, completing their studies in 2010. Afterward, from 2010 to 2013, they enrolled at Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University to obtain a Master's degree in Secondary Education Mathematics. Finally, from 2015 to 2017, Christina attended the University of West Georgia, where they focused on Instructional Technology, specializing in media.
