Maggie Walker

Maggie Walker is an experienced Software Engineer currently working at The Orchard since July 2019, while also serving as a Bootcamp Prep Instructor and Mentor at Fullstack Academy since August 2018. Maggie has completed a three-month immersive software engineering program through The Grace Hopper Program, focusing on full stack development using JavaScript. Previous experience includes participating in a 12-week programming retreat at Recurse Center and serving as a STEM Teacher at MESA Charter High School, where responsibilities included teaching Regents Earth Science and developing Project-Based Learning Curriculum. Additionally, Maggie has contributed as a Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and as an SAT Teacher at Ramallah Friends School, leading a successful SAT Prep program. Maggie holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
