Edwin Gear

Edwin Gear is an experienced technology leader, currently serving in an Independent Advisory role at Fulton Hogan, focusing on ERP transformation projects. Previously, as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at The Warehouse Group, Edwin led a $100 million infrastructure renewal program aimed at enhancing operational efficiency. Prior roles include CIO at Metcash, where collaboration across group companies was vital for supporting business strategies, and General Manager roles at Foodstuffs (Wellington) and Mitre10, concentrating on supply chain optimization and organizational development. Earlier experience includes turnarounds and leadership roles in technology and consulting sectors at Super Group and HR Focus Holdings, as well as executive positions at FrontRange Solutions. Edwin holds an MBA from Stellenbosch Business School and a BSc from Stellenbosch University.
