Liam Yang

Liam (Tianhe) Yang is a seasoned Laboratory Manager at Fulton Hogan, overseeing operations at an IANZ Accredited Mechanical Testing Lab specializing in asphalt and aggregates since April 2018. Prior to this role, Liam took a career break as a stay-at-home dad while supporting family responsibilities from November 2016 to March 2018. Liam (Tianhe)'s previous experience includes serving as a Materials Scientist at BRANZ, focusing on the durability and performance of building materials, and as a Senior Consultant at Holcim Technology Ltd, where Liam managed corporate research projects and supported product innovation. Academic credentials include a PhD in Materials Science from ETH Zurich and a Master’s in Physics from Tongji University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Materials Chemistry from Fudan University.
