Mark Sims

National Infrastructure Safety Manager

Mark Sims is currently the Health and Safety Manager for Link Alliance at the Maungawhau Mt Eden Station and has been serving as the HSE Manager for Transport Services at Downer New Zealand since 2017. Previously, Sims held various safety management positions, including Health, Safety & Environmental Manager for the $1.6 billion Port Khalifa project and Safety, Quality, Training & Environment Manager for Fulton Hogan's Auckland operations. From 2004 to 2008, Sims was also the SQTE Manager at Fulton Hogan, where innovation in safety earned the company a premier New Zealand safety award in 2006. Furthermore, Sims has experience as the Director of Eurocan Beacon and served as HSE Manager for several significant construction projects, including marine construction in the UAE.
