Yaffa Oksemberg is an accomplished engineering professional with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ryerson University. Currently serving as the HR Projects Manager at Fun and Function since July 2023, Yaffa previously held the position of Mechanical Engineer Investigator at Advantage Forensics Inc., where responsibilities included case analysis and testing from a professional engineering standpoint. Yaffa's engineering experience also encompasses a role as a Research and Development/Manufacturing Engineer at IceGen Corp, focusing on project development, testing management, and quality control. Earlier experiences include internships at NCSY Canada and Chai Lifeline Canada, as well as a program director role at Beth Avraham Yosef of Toronto Synagogue. Yaffa's background is complemented by various leadership roles in camp settings, demonstrating a commitment to youth programming and education.

Started from the ground up by Aviva Weiss, MS OTR/L, in 2007 in response to her own children’s struggles with sensory integration, the company has grown to support thousands of happy customers around the world who have family members, students, and clients with ADHD, Autism, sensory integration disorder, and other special needs. With an expert staff of educators and occupational therapists (who are all parents themselves!) Fun and Function is constantly developing more innovative tools and solutions to help children flourish in their environments, whether at home, in school, in the clinic, or anywhere in between.
