Vanessa D. is a seasoned tax professional with over a decade of experience in the field of accounting and taxation. Currently serving as a Tax Manager at Funaro & Co., P.C. since April 2014, Vanessa has held progressive roles including Tax Supervisor, Senior Tax Accountant, and Tax Accountant within the same firm. Prior to this, Vanessa worked as a Tax Consultant at RailWorks Corporation and as a Tax Accountant at Sol Schwartz & Associates, P.C. In the earlier stages of the career, Vanessa served as a Part-Time Accountant at Apollo Hair Systems and gained relevant experience as a Work Study Assistant to the Grants Accountant and Financial Analyst at the University of the Incarnate Word®. Vanessa holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting from the University of the Incarnate Word.
