Associate Lead Gameplay Programmer at Funcom

Steve Cossa has a strong background in game development, with experience in programming and engineering roles. Steve started their career as a Salesman at Play N Trade Video Games in 2009 but quickly transitioned into the game development industry. Steve worked as a Gameplay Programming Intern at Elephant Mouse LLC in 2013 before joining North Carolina State University as a Research Software Developer, where they contributed to the development of educational and serious games. In 2014, they joined Vicious Cycle Software, Inc. as a Gameplay Programmer, where they played a key role in the development and implementation of various gameplay systems for multi-platform action games. Steve later worked at Boss Key Productions Inc as a Gameplay Engineer, focusing on character classes, weapons, and gadgets for LawBreakers and Radical Heights. Currently, Steve is employed at Funcom as an Associate Lead Gameplay Programmer. Steve has progressed through various roles, including Senior Gameplay Programmer and Gameplay Programmer.

Steve Cossa completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at North Carolina State University from 2010 to 2013. Steve later pursued a Master of Computer Science at the same university in 2013.
