John Lanier

John Lanier is a Mechanical Design Engineer at Function Engineering, Inc. since August 2018, specializing in full-service product development for consumer electronics. Prior experience includes roles as an Intern Project Assistant at Ment Brothers Iron Works and as a Maintenance Contract Manager at ASIG, where management of a facility maintenance contract for the New Orleans MSY airport was a key responsibility. John has also worked as a Field Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where responsibilities included repairing high-value camera systems and maintaining detailed repair records, as well as serving in the US Marine Corps as an Electronics Technician, performing maintenance and repair on various electro-optical devices. John holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan University and the University of New Orleans.
