Rob Brownell

Vice President at Function Engineering

Rob Brownell has a diverse work experience. Rob started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation in 1985 and worked there until 1990. Rob then joined Synesis in 1990 as a Mechanical Engineer and moved on to Apple in 1991 where they held the same role. After leaving Apple in 1994, Rob joined Big Design as a Mechanical Engineer from 2000 to 2001. Their most recent position was at Function Engineering, where they worked as a Senior Managing Engineer from 1995 to 2010. Rob was later promoted to Vice President at the same company in 2010.

Rob Brownell completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia from 1979 to 1983. Rob further pursued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1983 to 1985.
