Ted Ketai

Ted Ketai is an accomplished Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in the design and development of medical devices, consumer electronics, and industrial equipment. Currently at Function Engineering, Inc., since March 2014, Ted provides mechanical engineering and product design services, specializing in CAD development, FEA analysis, and high-volume production techniques. Previously, as a Sr. R&D Engineer at Avinger Inc. and Abbott Vascular, Ted led critical device designs through clinical trial readiness and managed cross-functional teams to enhance product usability and performance. Notably, Ted holds three patents and has a robust educational background with an MSE in Biomedical Engineering and a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
