Melanie Balsis

Melanie Balsis has worked in the design industry since 2002. Melanie began their career as an Associate Art Director at Target Corporation, where they designed and produced weekly circulars for the softlines division and art directed fashion photo shoots. Melanie was promoted to Art Director in 2005, where they concepted and executed seasonal campaigns and all accompanying collateral, including direct mail, catalog, print advertising, and in-store marketing. In 2012, they started their own company, Melanie Balsis Design, as a Senior Graphic Designer. In 2021, they joined Functionaire as a Senior Designer.

Melanie Balsis graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2002 with a BFA in Graphic Design Emphasis and a minor in Art Melanie'story. Melanie attended Phillips High School from 1993 to 1997. In 2013, Melanie obtained a Licensed Massage Therapist certification from the East-West Healing Arts Institute.
