Jon Matthews is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at Functionize since December 2024, Jon previously held significant roles at Cisco as Head of Endpoint for Duo Security, where major achievements included the development of Duo Passport to streamline multi-factor authentication for over 290 customers. At Shogun, as Vice President of Engineering, Jon led a team that successfully implemented a new data pipeline, cutting latency for critical product data by 50% during peak periods without any downtime.
