Ibercivis Foundation was signed in Madrid, November 14th 2012. Ibercivis Foundation has as goals to keep on its labour of colaboration with research and to realize dissemination activities to give visibility to research groups participating in Ibercivis.

As core activities, Ibercivis is a citizen computation platform that allows society to participate on scientific research in a direct way and in real time. Beyond volunteer computing platform, Ibercivis is promoting research with citizen science projects. 

Ibercivis is also a Portuguese project with the participation of UMIC, LIP, CNBC, LCCN and CienciaViva.
