Fundación Wong, established in 1993, is a leader in Education, Environment and Social Development.  It is not a philanthropic institution or charity, but rather a strategic instrument of the Wong Group for social investment.  Its programs empower communities and develop potential in human resources, creating leaders in rural areas and specialized personnel for the company.  These resources, endowed with values and the ability to think critically, foster productivity and promote good relationships with the communities immersed in the activities of the Group.

Our educational programs provide coverage for children, youth and adults, including those who have previously dropped out of school.

EDUCATION
•	15 Teachers, 18 tutors, 2 Supervisors,  1 Doctor and support staff
•	Mid-morning breakfasts

•	MOU with the Ministry of Social Inclusion
•	Early childhood program benefiting 140 children from 0 to 4 years of age 
•	5 Remote Rural Elementary Schools  with over 500 children.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION – RIO PALENQUE
•	In 1998 purchase of the Río Palenque Rainforest Reserve
•	Forest Management Plan approved in 2004 by the Ministery of the Environment
