Amman Basra began their work experience in 2008 as a Teaching Assistant at Chorleywood Primary School, where they improved their communication and problem-solving skills. In 2011, they worked as a Temporary Worker at Capital Capture, focusing on the scanning process and further developing their communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

In 2012, Basra became an Open Day Tour Guide at the University of Reading, enhancing their communication skills by delivering important information about the university to prospective students and their parents. Within Barclays Investment Bank, Basra took on various roles, including C# Developer in the RFT Equity Micro Platform Team from April 2019 to June 2021, with responsibilities such as assisting Front Office with legacy investment systems and mentoring new joiners. From November 2015 to April 2019, they were a C# Developer in the Commodities Development Team, responsible for independent development, testing, and releasing of software, environment management, and devops.

Basra's most recent work experience is as a Software Engineer at FundApps, starting in August 2022. The details of this role have not yet been provided.

Amman Basra pursued their education at various institutions. From 2014 to 2015, they attended the University of Birmingham, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science.
