James Naylor

James Naylor has over 16 years of experience in software development and engineering. James is currently working as a Software Engineer at FundApps since September 2021. Previously, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at Traka from November 2017 to September 2021, where they were involved in developing an embedded asset management solution using VB.NET/C# and implemented real-time update systems and improved user security. Before that, they worked as a Senior Software Consultant at Quovidion Ltd from May 2010 to November 2017, where they designed and implemented workflow systems for accounts payable departments. Prior to that, they worked as a Web Applications Developer at PlusOne Services for a brief period in 2009 and as a Software Developer at MBR IT Solutions Ltd from September 2006 to August 2009, where they delivered bespoke solutions and led the translation of an insurance trading system from WinForms to ASP.NET. James started their career as an IT Developer at 2sms.com in August 2005, where they were responsible for website and application development, as well as designing marketing materials.

James Naylor completed their higher education from 1999 to 2003 at Harlington Upper School, where they did not acquire a specific degree or field of study. Later, from 2003 to 2005, James attended the University of East Anglia, where they obtained an HNC in Computer Science. Aside from their formal education, James Naylor has also obtained additional certifications. In May 2021, they completed the Cybersecurity IT Fundamentals Specialization from Coursera and the IBM Blockchain Foundation Developer V2 course from IBM. Additionally, they are scheduled to receive their AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2023.
