Aviad Klein

Aviad Klein is the VP of Data Science at Fundbox. Aviad has also worked as a Data Science Manager at Agoda International Israel, a team leader at Agoda, and a media analyst at ConvertMedia. In addition, Klein has been an external consultant for the Israeli Prison Service and a statistical analyst for G-STAT.

Klein began their career as a research assistant at Tel Aviv University in 2012. Aviad assisted researchers in data integration and statistical analysis of factors that lead to adoption and defection of products. In 2013, they joined ConvertMedia as a media analyst. There, they assisted researchers in data integration and statistical analysis of factors that lead to adoption and defection of products.

In May of 2018, Klein joined Agoda International Israel as their Data Science Manager. In this role, they were responsible for marketing science, fraud, cancellation prediction, and NLP and content optimization. Aviad held this position until March of 2020.

Currently, Klein serves as the VP of Data Science at Fundbox. In this role, they are responsible for leading the data science team and developing data-driven products.

Aviad Klein has a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics and Economics from the University of Haifa. Aviad also has a certification from Coursera in Graph Analytics for Big Data from University of California San Diego. In addition, they have certifications from Coursera in Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Data Science in Real Life, Executive Data Science Capstone, A Crash Course in Data Science, Building a Data Science Team, Executive Data Science, and Managing Data Analysis.
