Michael Vanegas

Michael Vanegas is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as Senior Director of Compliance at Fundbox since May 2019, Michael plays a key role in aligning the company's strategic goals with regulatory requirements. Prior to this position, Michael was a Senior Consultant at Capco, managing the Regulatory Tracking & Reporting Team, and held various roles at FIS, including Senior Compliance Manager and Director of Client Support, where management of regulatory functions and client relationships were pivotal. Michael's earlier career includes experience in underwriting and loan processing at prominent institutions such as JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America. Michael holds a B.A. in American Studies from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of San Diego.
