William Corey is a business executive with over 37 years of experience in public accounting. William is currently the Director at Fundbox, and was previously the Managing Partner of PricewaterhouseCooper's (PwC) Baltimore office. William has also led the Audit Practice in the Baltimore office and was a member of the Washington Metro Market Council.
Bill has served on PwC's Assurance Line of Service Partner Admissions Committee as well as other National PwC committees. William has considerable experience in working with new and established public companies in a variety of industries as well as supervising complex audit engagements and has significant experience with initial public offerings. William also has extensive SEC and acquisition consulting experience and has participated in numerous initial public offerings (including three current Fortune 1000 companies), integrated audits and other SEC filings.
Bill is a member of the Board of Directors of Port Discovery Children's Museum, Board of Advisors of the James Madison University College of Business and LP Advisory Committee of Squadra Ventures and is on the Board of Directors and Audit Committee of Stewart Information Services Corporation (NYSE: STC). William is also a graduate of the GBC's 2003 Leadership Class and a former Board of Directors member of the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore, Greater Baltimore Committee (GBC), Emerging Technology Center, Greater Baltimore Technology Council, the Mid Atlantic Venture Association (MAVA) and the UMBC Research Park.
William Corey received their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting and Finance from James Madison University. William also has certification from the State of Maryland as a Certified Public Accountant.
