Boris F.

Boris F. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Boris started their career at Amdocs in 2000 as a Java Developer and worked there until 2006. Boris then joined Log-On Software as a Java Developer for a year before moving on to Exent, where they worked as a Full-stack Developer from 2007 to 2012.

In 2012, Boris joined RSA, The Security Division of EMC, as a Full-stack Developer. During their tenure at RSA, they were involved in migrating a fraud-detection application from On-premise to SaaS model. Boris used technologies such as Spring AOP, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JMS, and worked with tools like Maven and Tomcat. Boris also gained experience in working with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Boris left RSA in 2014.

From 2014 to 2016, Boris worked at Treato as a Senior Java Developer. Following this, they joined GE Digital as a Senior Java Developer in 2016 and transitioned to a new role at Philips as a Senior Software Engineer in 2017. Boris worked at Philips until 2019.

In 2019, Boris joined Imoovo as a Backend Developer, Technical Lead, and Co-Founder. In this role, they led a team of software engineers and developed Java-based Spring Boot applications on the Heroku cloud. Boris worked at Imoovo until 2020.

After leaving Imoovo, Boris joined Grid4C as a Senior Software Engineer. During their time at Grid4C, Boris worked on various projects, including developing monitoring and reporting tools, deploying with Docker on AWS cloud, creating a real-time ML solution for an Edge device, and migrating a part of the administration website from AngularJS to Angular 2. Boris also created the CI/CD process in Jenkins to test the entire solution. Boris left Grid4C in 2022.

Currently, Boris is working as a Senior Software Engineer at FundGuard, where they started in 2022.

Boris F. pursued their education in the field of computer science. From 1993 to 1996, they studied Computer Software Engineering at Sapir College, where they obtained an Engineer's Degree. Later, from 2006 to 2013, they attended The Open University of Israel, focusing on Computer Science and earning another Engineer's Degree. In addition to their formal education, Boris has obtained several certifications. These certifications include "Learning Go" from LinkedIn, which they obtained in August 2022, as well as "Spring: Spring Data 2," "Kotlin for Java Developers," "Creativity Bootcamp," "First Look: Java 10 and Java 11," "Learning Google Firebase for Flutter," and "Learning Google Flutter for Mobile Developers," all from LinkedIn and obtained in various months of 2019.
