Martyn James

Martyn James is currently the Managing Partner at ETFS Capital, a venture capital firm focused on investing in early-stage European fintech businesses. Since 2024, they have served as a Non Executive Director at Fundment, and they have also held Non Executive Director positions at BITA and Cognitive Credit. Prior to their current roles, Martyn gained valuable legal experience as Director and General Counsel at ETF Securities by WisdomTree, and worked as a trainee solicitor and associate at Travers Smith. Martyn holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Durham and is pursuing the LPC at Nottingham School of Law.
