At Funk Associates, excellence in academic leadership recruitment is more than a service—it's our legacy. For decades, we've been the trusted partner for leading colleges and universities across the country, dedicated to identifying and securing the most visionary Presidents, Chancellors, Vice Presidents, and Deans to steer institutions towards increasing success.

The firm was founded by the current CEO, R. William Funk, and has found more than 450 Presidents and Chancellors for Universities.

Together, our consultants have almost 2,000 searches-worth of experience in Higher Education. The firm has conducted successful searches for every major academic leadership position at colleges and universities across the country.

Since its inception, RWFA has focused on our one major goal: delivering world-class service to clients while recruiting world-class talent on their behalf. We believe we accomplish this through personal attention, genuine care and passionate advocacy for the universities and institutions we serve.
