Richard Grant

Richard Grant has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Richard is currently working as a Business Intelligence Analyst at Funko since January 2021. Prior to this, they held a long-term position at Polo Ralph Lauren, where they worked as a Manager for Business Intelligence and Application Support and Development from September 2006 to January 2021. At Polo Ralph Lauren, they gained expertise in Microstrategy Administration, creation of mobile dashboards and documents, development and maintenance of MS Access/Excel/SQL applications and Microstrategy reports. Richard also resolved day-to-day issues and migrated existing MS Access applications to SQL Server/.NET. Additionally, Richard has worked as an Information Analyst at Legal Services Commission from May 2004 to May 2005 and as a Senior Performance Analyst at Woolworths Head Office from February 2002 to May 2004. Richard began their career as a Computer Operator at Douglas Terry Estate Agency from September 1988 to November 1989, where they developed database applications and produced technical and user documentation for property-related tasks. Richard also worked as a Senior Application Developer at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young from March 1998 to December 2001, developing applications and providing on and off site development, maintenance, and support services. Throughout their career, Richard has demonstrated their ability to deliver projects on time and meet client expectations.

Richard Grant has pursued higher education in the field of computer science and information technology. In 1986 to 1988, they attended BRENT ITEC, where they earned a City And Guilds 726 degree in Electronics And Computing. Following this, from 1990 to 1991, Richard studied at the College Of North West London and obtained a City and Guilds 726 degree in Information Technology. From 1992 to 1994, they continued their education at the same college and acquired a BTEC National Diploma in Computing. Lastly, Richard completed their formal education at London Metropolitan University, where they studied Computer Science from 1994 to 1997 and graduated with a B. SC. (Hon’s) Upper Second (2:1) degree.

In addition to their academic achievements, Richard Grant has obtained several certifications. In April 2020, they became a certified Developer from MicroStrategy, and in July 2020, they achieved the Analyst certification from the same institution. Most recently, in February 2022, Richard obtained the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations 2021 Associate certification from Oracle.
