Sarah Martinez

Sarah Martinez has extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources and People & Culture. Sarah currently holds the position of Senior Vice President and Global Head of People & Culture at Funko, a role they have been in since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Starbucks, where they held various positions. From 2019 to 2021, Sarah served as the Human Resources Director, Technology, and from 2018 to 2019, they were the Human Resources Manager, Technology. Before that, Sarah played a significant role in Starbucks' Siren Retail group, leading as the Human Resources Manager. Sarah was responsible for partner role definition and engagement, organizational design, talent recruitment and development, and other operational aspects. Sarah also worked as a Program Manager for Starbucks' College Achievement Plan, where they designed and developed college achievement programs. Before joining Starbucks, Sarah worked for Airborne Express as a Recruitment Specialist. Overall, Sarah has a strong background in Human Resources and has played a key role in developing and implementing various HR initiatives throughout their career.
