Mohan Markandaier

Mohan Markandaier is a seasoned venture capitalist currently serving as Managing Partner at Good News Ventures, where they focus on empowering visionary founders to transform early-stage innovations. With extensive experience, Mohan has held several advisory and board positions, including roles with the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association and the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation. As President of iX8 Ventures since 2010, they have made notable investments in companies such as Kepler Communications and Enthusiast Gaming. Mohan's background in technology and operations includes leadership positions at Syntellect, Pulse Voice Inc., and Enghouse Networks. They earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering from the University of Toronto and are currently pursuing an Executive Program in Sales Management at York University’s Schulich School of Business.
