Bennett F. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2008, they worked as an Intern at The China Institute, where they assisted in research and performed general clerical duties. From 2011 to 2012, they served as a Contributing Editor at 6 Magazine. In 2015, Bennett joined Liulishuo as a Content Developer, and later took on roles as Content Lead for Travel English and Interactive Story-Based Game, and Content Lead for the Podcasting Product. During their time at Liulishuo, they led various content development efforts, collaborated with product managers and design leads, and implemented editorial guidelines. In 2020, Bennett worked as a Narrative Designer at Avid.ly. Most recently, they joined Yotta Games as a Narrative Designer, leading the development of the game's main storyline and world-building assets. They also worked closely with artists and game designers to ensure narrative consistency within the game system. In 2022, Bennett started working at FunPlus as a Narrative Designer and Worldbuilder.

Bennett F. attended Purchase College, SUNY from 2004 to 2008. During this time, they pursued a degree in History with a focus on Chinese studies, specifically in the field of East Asian Studies. In addition, Bennett F. also attended East China Normal University, where they studied from an unspecified start year until 2007. At this university, they focused on subjects such as Chinese language, community and urban development, and international relations. No specific degree was mentioned for this period.
