Xinyue Liu

Xinyue Liu has a diverse range of work experience. Xinyue started as a Freelance Writer, specializing in alternative history fiction. In 2019, they worked as an Assistant Stage Manager for the Kenan Theatre Company, where they helped with casting, prop preparation, and other production tasks. In 2020, Xinyue took on the role of a Screenwriter, writing three short stage plays and a feature-length campus thriller+mystery film.

More recently, Xinyue has expanded their skills in the creative industry. In 2022, they joined the University of Michigan's School of Music, Theatre & Dance as an Actress and Voice Actress, performing in productions such as "Cloud Nine" and "Momo Dumpling". Concurrently, they also worked as a VR and Creative Video Editing Fellow at the University's Center for Academic Innovation, creating promotional and introduction videos.

In 2023, Xinyue joined FunPlus as a Creative Video Editor, responsible for creating video ads for the game DC: DARK LEGION. These ads were released on Facebook in August 2023. Additionally, they briefly worked as a Writer's Assistant and Marketing Assistant at Your Total Image Productions, where they wrote film treatments, coverage, and scripts, and adapted documentaries into feature films.

Xinyue Liu pursued their education in a chronological order. From 2018 to 2021, they attended the University of Glasgow, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Pharmacology. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Michigan in 2020 and is expected to complete their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Astronomy and Film, Television, and Media in 2023.
