Joseph Kang

Joseph Kang has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and quality assurance. Joseph started their career in 2013 as a Jr. QA Analyst at SQA², where they provided support for the lead QA analyst at VCA Antech by identifying, executing, and managing test cases. Joseph also automated test cases using Visual Studio.

In 2014, Joseph worked as a QA Analyst at American Honda Motor Company, Inc., where they designed and created scenarios for performance testing using HP Loadrunner and managed test cases and defects using HP Quality Center.

Later that year, they joined Ticketmaster as a QA Engineer (contractor through SQA²), where they automated test cases and created an API wrapper for manipulating Excel files. Joseph also logged and tracked defects in Jira.

In 2015, Joseph joined Cheetah Digital as a Senior Software QA Engineer, where they worked until 2018, focusing on software quality assurance.

Since 2018, Joseph has been working at Funraise, initially as a Software Engineer in Test and currently as the Director of Engineering.

Joseph Kang completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics at the University of California, Berkeley from 2009 to 2013.
