furbd is a Tees Valley based digital inclusion and sustainability organisation working to ensure no one is left behind in an increasingly digital world.

Founded in 2021, furbd collects unwanted IT equipment from businesses, securely data-wipes it, refurbishes it, and redistributes it to digitally excluded individuals, families, and community groups . By extending the life of technology, we reduce e-waste, lower carbon emissions, and create meaningful social impact.

furbd is also developing a neurodivergent-led, sensory-friendly training and work environment , creating pathways into skills, confidence, and employment for autistic and neurodivergent people, a group where only around 29 percent are in paid work .

Through partnership, sustainability, and inclusion, furbd is turning unwanted tech into opportunity, for people and for the planet.
