John O. has had a diverse work experience. John started in 2021 as a Financial Services Consultant at 3QA and later became a Finance Manager at Embrace. In 2022, they co-founded Disruptive Knowledge and assumed the role of Co-Founder & Managing Partner. John also joined Fuze as Head of Strategy and became a Venture Partner - Digital Assets at Further Ventures.
John O. completed their MSc in Blockchain and Digital Currency from the University of Nicosia's Department of Digital Innovation, where they studied from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting and Finance from Notre Dame University - Louaize (NDU) from 2006 to 2010.
In addition to their formal education, John O. has also obtained several certifications. In 2020, they completed the DFIN-511 Introduction to Digital Currencies course from the Institute For the Future (IFF). In 2021, they acquired certifications in Advanced Analytics in Power BI, DAX Formula Patterns, Mastering DAX Calculations, and Scenario Analysis Deep Dive from Enterprise DNA. The months of completion for these certifications are not specified.
Further Ventures
At Further they work with founders as early as idea stage to validate, prototype, and launch new companies. They created Further to be the ultimate co-founder. They take common stock, take care of seed capital, deal with regulators, and bring their collective expertise to make sure their ventures have the best chance to becoming category leading companies.
