Gini Simpson

Gini Simpson is the Community Power Lead at Hastings Commons, a position they have held since 2023. They have held multiple leadership and governance roles in arts and culture, including Artistic Director at Hear Me Out Music (2018–2023) and Chairman of the Board at Furtherfield (2015–Present). Earlier, they served as Board Member at Live Art Development Agency (2010–2021), Head of Learning and Participation at Barbican Centre (2013–2015), and Senior Business Development Manager, Art and Culture at QMUL (2008–2013). They are pursuing an MA in European Interactive Multi Media at the London School of Printing and a BA in Fine Art at Central St Martins School of Art.
