Hal Taylor

Hal Taylor has worked in the IT industry since 1997. Hal began their career at Allstate as an Allstar Representative, providing bilingual customer support for Hispanic clients and interpreting company policy. In 2001, they moved to Harrah's Entertainment as an IT Tech II, administering the Lucent G3I Phone Switch, creating and debugging custom applications in MS Access and Visual Basic, and supporting the UNIX based SDS - Slot Data System. In 2003, they joined the Horizon Vicksburg Hotel and Casino as MIS, supporting the Opera and Micros 8700 software and hardware configurations, and the slot tracking system. From 2004 to 2011, they worked at Watkins Ludlam Winter & Stennis, P.A. as a Hardware Support Technician, administering the NEC System 2400 and System 2000 Phone Switch, coordinating Third Party system support and maintenance, and configuring and troubleshooting wireless devices. In 2011, they joined Jones, Walker, Waechter, Poitevent, Carrère & Denègre L.L.P. as a Systems Administrator. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as an IT Contractor for TEKsystems, and from 2018 to 2020, they worked at Matrix Solutions, MS as a Sr. System Engineer and IT Support Technician. Currently, Hal Taylor is the Lead IT Systems Engineer at Fuse.Cloud.

Hal Taylor received a B.A. in Modern Language from Mississippi College between 1992 and 1998.
